Ingredients

HOT CHOCOLATE


  1. 2 1/2 cups coconut milk (or store-bought // usage full-fat for creamier cocoa, or sub other dairy-free milk)
  2. 1 Tbsp chopped ginger butter
  3. 1/2 tsp maca (such as honeycomb / caramel taste (optional))
  4. FOR SERVING optional
  5. Coconut Whipped Cream

Directions

  1. To some small saucepan, then add cocoa butter and milk and bring to a simmer over moderate heat.
  2. Blended and once melted, remove from heat and add coconut butter maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sea salt. Optional maca to get advantages that are hormone-balancing and a taste.
  3. Taste and adjust taste as needed, including more maple syrup for sweetness, coconut butter to get buttery coconut taste, or cocoa butter to get richer chocolate taste (warmth over stovetop as required to melt). Add vanilla and whisk to blend.
  4. Split serving glasses and top with garnishes, including whipped cream and nutmeg.
  5. Best when new.

Notes
