Ingredients

  5. 1/2 tsp sea salt
  6. 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  7. Freshly ground black pepper
  8. Lentils dried
  9. 2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary note note
  10. 1 - 1 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

Directions

  1. In a large pot over moderate heat, add 1 1/2 tbsp of sea salt, the water, carrot, onion, garlic, celery, paprika, curry powder, thyme, and pepper and stir to blend. Rinse the peas. Add stock, the cups of the water, and the peas and stir to blend. Add rosemary and simmer for another 8-10 minutes or longer, until lentils are softened. Stir in vinegarand then add water if needed. Serve.

Recipe Notes

  1. Rosemary Note: New is wonderful in this soup, but you may use dried if you do not have it. If you are using put in it at the start of the process, together with the leafy veggies dried, and then utilize significantly less, 1/2-1 tsp.
